Stampers Sampler

May 22, 2008 - Comments Off on Stampers Sampler

These three pieces have made it into the June/July issue of Stampers Sampler, first time I’ve ever sent anything in, so I’m very chuffed to hear it!

First piece was made to a template, and colour, being torquoise

The second, again in torqouise, is a stampbord atc sized hanging

and last, but certainly not least as this is my favourite of the three, and the one I am most proud of…

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to send in, and told me these pieces were good enough and stuff, and thanks Penny for that stamp on the bottom card, it’s one of my very favourites!

Mixed Media Monday

May 15, 2008 - Comments Off on Mixed Media Monday

This is my piece for Mixed Media Monday this week, where the theme is “transparencies” so I hope this counts, my transparancies are four pieces of memory glass soldered together with a little collage image in the middle on both sides. After 60 photos this is the best of the bunch, it was really hard to photograph. My soldering needs some practise but I am getting better!

Edited to say, Karin says it’s a cuboid….so it’s my Whimsy Cuboid! Thanks Karin😉

This is a tag book I’ve made for my first DT challenge from Marie at Craftaway, the whole thing will be on the gallery there soon……

Moo & Tag You’re It

May 3, 2008 - Comments Off on Moo & Tag You’re It

This is my contribution to Nellie’s “Make a Moo or Two” this week, where the theme is “GOLD”

And here I’ve added it to a tag and this is my first entry on a new challenge blog, “Tag You’re It”, where the theme is “Moo Tags”

AhaarMateys!! TGIF

May 2, 2008 - Comments Off on AhaarMateys!! TGIF

The theme on TGIF this week is PIRATES!! How cool is that, and perfect timing too, as I’ve just finished some DT work for Stamp Addicts- I can’t blog all of it, and don’t want to bore you anyway, but this is a selection of my work for this project- the cards will all be seen on Create and Craft TV on Saturday 17th May, and you can watch online too!!😉 I will blog the rest of it on the day….

This one has a stampbord hanging on it, it’s only stuck on with blu tack, so you can keep the hanging as a little “minding”

and last, a tri-fold card, closed shut with black ribbon

All stamps are Judikins and Printworks.

Thanks for looking! Kaz x

Happy Birthday to My Dad!

April 27, 2008 - Comments Off on Happy Birthday to My Dad!

Made this card for my hero, my Dad!! It’s his birthday today, although I think he prefered the bottle of malt that went with this….lol

Moo & Birthday Hanging

April 25, 2008 - Comments Off on Moo & Birthday Hanging

The theme on Nellie’s “Make a Moo or Two” challenge blog this week is “girls” and I had this picture of….me…lol for once it’s not Sophie (as I couldn’t be doing with resizing pics etc and this one was done already…) so I layered some paper, gold mullberry paper and “angel hair” and made this little moo, added a piece of german scrap, edged with Krylon, bob’s yer aunty- I feel it needs words or a word but I don’t have anything suitable, so I may add that later as this is one for keeping for me.

Also wanted to blog this birthday hanging, I made it for Em a couple of weeks back, but I had lost the jpeg, so couldn’t blog it. Just found it in amongst other pics, so here it is, Emma’s birthday hanging.

Wednesday Stamper- Lippychick Book

April 23, 2008 - Comments Off on Wednesday Stamper- Lippychick Book

The theme on this week’s Wednesday Stamper is “insects” and I was just finishing off this Lippychick “flop book” for a design team assignment for Craftaway. So I decided it was a perfect entry, as there is stamping a plenty on it….lol Also pictures of my gorgeous daughter (ok I’m biased…) Sophie, and the image in the centre was a free download from Inka.

The Lippychick books are fab, and come prefolded, which is good if you’re anything like me….lol all ready to decorate!!

Thanks for stopping by….Kaz x

Plastic cover…

Front, complete with bee and ladybirds and butterflies- sorry about the poor quality pic, I don’t know where I’ve gone wrong here, but since the book is sent off I can’t rectify it!

The Inside, folded up….

  Inside unfolded….

The underneath, love those glimmer mists!

And last, the back, complete with mica flakes.
