October 22, 2007

This is my entry for this week’s Wednesday Stamper, where the theme is “children”. It’s also a birthday card for a friend, hopefully if she gets it in time lol

(apologies for the poor quality pic, it’s a long and boring story but now that the card is posted there’s not much I can do about it lol)

This is my entry for my blog challenge site, Saturday Stampers. The theme for this week is winter and it ties in nicely with an inter-forum arch swap I am doing, so this is mine.

This is my contribution to Saturday Stamper this week, where the theme is Pink Ribbon to tie in with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Card and Tagged……
October 11, 2007

This is a card I made for my beeeuuutiful forum friend Carrie (she’s one of the Corrs, I’m certain of it).

Stamps are PBS, rub ons BG and distress inks.

Also I’ve been tagged by Jo, here’s the gist of it…….

Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blogpost containing your own middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.

Well, my middle name is Alice so here goes…….

A is for art- something I’ve never thought my crafting was until recently, even now I don’t think of it as art unless it’s a canvas or something…..I don’t really know if this blog is art or not, but at least some of it I like to think IS! lol

L is for love…….soppy mare I am….my family, friends, dogs, most of all though my husband and three lovely kids. I’m fortunate I have…

Nathan, almost 15 and I’m going to our third MCR concert in November, and he says I’m NOT an embarrasing mum, we’re very close and I love that. (we still split up and meet again at the end of the concert though…

Deklan, almost 12……can’t believe he’s almost 12 already, for such a long time he was my wee baby lol he’s very creative, and if I’m not at my craft desk, he is! he makes 3d model aeroplanes from my card, and they’re really fab! he loves the engineering side of aeroplanes and makes models and things too.

Sophie, aged 3…….apple of everyone’s eye, including her big brothers…..they’re her best friend as well as her brother and are both absolutely brilliant to her. she’s crazy, loopy, demanding, funny, and so so loving.

I’m honoured to be their mum and also to be Tam’s wife…..he’s a great husband (don’t tell him that though, he’ll only get big headed)

wow, only on I…….I is for…..I dunno. Igloo…..I used to make them out of the snow actually, do you remember years ago when the snow was real deep and perfect for snowmen/igloos and such- now it’s wishy washy rubbish snow……tsk…..

C is for crafting- what else??? lol I’ve always crafted one way or another- have dolls houses, love making them but they take up so much room and right now that’s something I don’t have. Once I win the lotto (if I ever do it) I’ll buy a mansion and have a craft room and a dolls house room…….

E is for everyone in my life……..I wouldn’t be without a single person in my life at the moment, family, friends, internet friends, I’ve met some GREAT people on the forums I’m on and in blog land, and I love it. Long may it last!!

Also been tagged by Emma……this is the gist of that one……lol

”Here are the rules which you must abide by if you are tagged.1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.2. Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).4. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.”

So wow, after all that ramble 7 facts to think of…

ok 1. bullies and bullying, I despise anyone who bullies and can’t stand to watch it and do nothing, I will always get involved to try and help, cos I was bullied from my very first day in primary school till my leaving day in the academy- and I left with two O grades because I was so scared to go into school I missed exams. So I would NEVER partake in any way shape or form of bullying or bullying by proxy! In this PC day and age it’s a word that’s used too freely- come to me when you know what bullying actually is, then we’ll talk.

2. Art and Music were the O grades…….lollol

3. I’m a jewellery repair person and watchmaker to trade, I trained for years in both and loved it

4. I make web sites.

5. wow this is hard………

I love MCR and gerard way? is that new to anyone? rofl maybe not…….. I’ve seen them 3 times in 18 months (well it will be in November) and buy Kerrang whenever they’re in it. (I pretend it’s for Nathan lol) and spend a lot of time on youtube looking at videos etc……

6. i’m no good at being tagged…..tsk………tut……… errrrr……. when I turn the volume up on my tv or my car cd player cos they’re digital, I have to have it at an even number…..

7. I met Mark Little – Joe Mangel from Neighbours- at the Edinburgh Festival, in 1990, and was pretty erm……merry….. and asked him to say “G’day ya mongrel” which he very kindly did, and gave me his autograph too, not like I would have done had I been him and asked to say the same phrase two hundred times in a day lol I’d have battered me……rofl

crikey if you read all that you deserve a medal…….I’m going to tag 5 people and let them decide which tag to go for…….lol and the lucky folks are…..
