Stampers Sampler May 22, 2008

These three pieces have made it into the June/July issue of Stampers Sampler, first time I’ve ever sent anything in, so I’m very chuffed to hear it!

First piece was made to a template, and colour, being torquoise

The second, again in torqouise, is a stampbord atc sized hanging

and last, but certainly not least as this is my favourite of the three, and the one I am most proud of…

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to send in, and told me these pieces were good enough and stuff, and thanks Penny for that stamp on the bottom card, it’s one of my very favourites!

hehe, I swear my forum friends are going to kill me if I do many more pirate sayings…..ahaaaaaar they are….ok I have a joke first

ok I will stop now…..here’s my other contributions to the Design Team work I did for Stamp Addicts, the show is on tomorrow on Create and Craft, and remember you can watch online! lol plugging my own work….sad or what….lol anyway, it’s on at 10am UK time, and the show is called Pirates and Princesses, I got some pirate stamps to work with, so here’s what I did with them. And I LOVED making this lot!

Mixed Media Monday May 15, 2008

This is my piece for Mixed Media Monday this week, where the theme is “transparencies” so I hope this counts, my transparancies are four pieces of memory glass soldered together with a little collage image in the middle on both sides. After 60 photos this is the best of the bunch, it was really hard to photograph. My soldering needs some practise but I am getting better!

Edited to say, Karin says it’s a cuboid….so it’s my Whimsy Cuboid! Thanks Karin 😉

AhaarMateys!! TGIF May 2, 2008

The theme on TGIF this week is PIRATES!! How cool is that, and perfect timing too, as I’ve just finished some DT work for Stamp Addicts- I can’t blog all of it, and don’t want to bore you anyway, but this is a selection of my work for this project- the cards will all be seen on Create and Craft TV on Saturday 17th May, and you can watch online too!! 😉 I will blog the rest of it on the day….

This one has a stampbord hanging on it, it’s only stuck on with blu tack, so you can keep the hanging as a little “minding”

and last, a tri-fold card, closed shut with black ribbon

All stamps are Judikins and Printworks.

This is what I’ve made for the theme of “stripes” on Wednesday Stamper this week. The stripey paper is Basic Grey and the stamps are from Printworks, Stampers Anonymous and Paperbag Studios.
